Sincere apologies for the length of time between updates. The last month has kind of been a blur. Well, so far 2018 has been a challenge. As most of you know, my Mom passed away last month, and we have been pretty quiet the past few weeks. Mark continues to slowly heal, and the good news is his kidney function has improved to 42%. Hearing loss and dizziness are still an issue. His weight is stable, around 145. He's not losing any more weight, but can't seem to put serious pounds back on him yet. April 9th will be the big day. They will be running all the tests to see if the cancer is gone. It will probably be a couple days later before we get the results, but that is our focus right now. Fingers crossed and prayers encouraged !! Starting to get back into more of our regular routine. Our plan in the next few months is continue to split our time between Laguna and Palm Springs, and enjoy the desert as much as we can before the summer heat arrives. Tomorrow morning will go to mass, and then Mark's sister Mary is hosting the family in the afternoon.
