September 12th, 2017 is the day that changed our lives.   Mark got the call that the tumor biopsy in his neck was cancerous.   After numerous MRI's, CAT Scans and PET Scans, he was diagnosed with Stage 4 Oropharyngeal Cancer located at the back of his tongue, throat and neck region, and in his lymph nodes.

On Monday, October 23, we will be meeting with his specialist team to get the final attack plan that we estimate will begin shortly thereafter.   The initial information is Mark will undergo 35 straight days of radiation, with 3-7 days of chemo mixed in.

We will be using Team Mark to provide updates on his progress, and allow everyone to stay informed and keep in touch, especially on days where there might not be enough time in the day to communicate individually.

Since Mark received the diagnosis and we started to spread the news, the outpouring of love and support from all of you has been incredible.   Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts.

Love, Perry & Meghan & Maura & David      (And Grace too !!)
